BONUS last week at the BDF and EUSBSR Annual Forum in Turku

Join us by watching a video of the joint BONUS and CBSS-Baltic 21 parallel work session titled “Successful cooperation: research, development and innovation” held last week during the second day of the BDF and EUSBSR Annual Forum, 4 June 2014, Turku, Finland.

The session was moderated by Andris Andrusaitis (BONUS) and Maxi Nachtigall (CBSS-Baltic 21). The over 70 participants in attendance learned more about successful cooperation using as a case the undercurrent and necessity of the sustainable development from the eight panelists representing science, innovation and policy sectors: Jacob Carstensen (Aarhus University, Denmark), Anna Sosnowska (Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection, Poland), Grit Martinez (Duke University Berlin, Germany), Marja-Liisa Tapio-Birström (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Finland), Heléne Ejhed (IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute), Jenny Hedman (Swedish Environmental Protection Agency), Åsa Stenmarck (IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute), Karin Nygård Skalman (VINNOVA, Sweden).

Kick-off meeting for the BONUS call 2012 projects

The kick-offmeeting of the BONUS funded research and innovation projects commencing their implementation in 2014 will be held in Riga, Latvia on 26 and 27 August. The programme of the meeting and registrations are available at www.bonusportal.org/riga2014.

In addition, the annual BONUS triple meeting of the Projects’ Coordinators Forum, BONUS Steering Committee and Bonus Advisory Board will be held in Riga on 27 August.
