Join BONUS at the BDF and EUSBSR Annual Forum 2014 in Turku next week

On both 3 and 4 June in Turku, you can find the BONUS exhibition at the Baltic Development Forum (BDF) and the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) Annual Forum's Networking Village stand number 12. Come and visit us to learn more about the "BONUS model", 7 new viable ecosystem research projects, 13 new BONUS innovation projects commencing in spring and summer 2014, and the BONUS calls 2014.

On Wednesday (4 June) at 13.15, Dr. Kaisa Kononen, Executive Director of BONUS, interviews coordinators of new BONUS projects starting in 2014 on the networking village’s presentation stage.

On Wednesday (4 June), 15.30-17.00, a joint parallel work stream session will be held titled Successful cooperation: research, development and innovation organised by BONUS and the EUSBSR Horizontal action leads for Sustainable Development from the CBSS Baltic-21. This interactive session will take place in the main plenary room of the Annual Forum and will look at demonstrating successful cooperation using as a case the undercurrent and necessity of the sustainable development.

European Maritime Day 2014 in Bremen last week: Innovation driving Blue Growth

On 19 and 20 May 2014, European Maritime Day was devoted to innovation and maritime technologies.

The BONUS exhibition, ran together with the EUSBSR flagship project BSR Stars, was well received and marked the official announcement of the first thirteen Baltic Sea innovation projects selected for BONUS funding that are starting in spring and summer 2014.
