E-bulletin 44/19.3.2014

Preregistration for the BONUS call 2014: Sustainable ecosystem services is now closed

BONUS received in total 60 preregistrations with 382 partners representing all eight BONUS participating states, Russia and nine other countries. The call was launched on 16 January 2014 and the final proposals will be submitted in a month’s time.

Finnish partners are coordinating 19 proposals, followed by Swedish (13), German (10) and Polish (7). All proposals except one are coordinated by research organisations. Biggest number of partners is from Sweden – 72, followed by Finland (69), Poland (53), Germany (49), Estonia (39), Denmark (27), Latvia (23), Lithuania (22) and Russian Federation (1%).

The final proposals are due in latest by 16 April 2014 at 17.00 CET. The preregistered consortia are encouraged to begin working on final proposals immediately while the supportive eligibility checks are being carried out by BONUS. The outcome of the eligibility check will be communicated to the consortia via the BONUS Electronic Proposal Submission System as soon as possible.

Now completed preregistrations ensure adequate time for the BONUS Secretariat to secure broad enough expertise of the evaluation panel for the independent selection process taking place in June 2014.

The outcome of the call will be announced later in 2014 and the successful candidates invited for the grant agreement negotiations.
