PhD student position focusing on risk assessment of contaminated soil and sediment

The Department of Applied Environmental Science, Stockholm University is looking for a PhD student to join an international and interdisciplinary CHANGE project and work with scientists from the natural sciences, law and socio-economists with environmental questions related to boating in the Baltic Sea. The Gulf of Finland Year 2014

The Gulf of Finland Year 2014 was opened in January by its patron, President of the Republic of Finland, Mr. Sauli Niinistö. Researchers from Estonia, Finland and Russia will produce a detailed analysis of the state of the gulf's marine ecosystem and hundreds of events and seminars will be organised around the gulf. BONUS Electronic Proposal Submission System update

The BONUS Electronic Proposal Submission System (EPSS) is temporarily out of use. Due to a technical problem, the EPSS is currently being migrated to a new location.

For applicants preparing submission to the BONUS call 2014: Sustainable ecosystem services

BONUS applicants are advised to study carefully the Guide for applicants specific to the BONUS call 2014: Sustainable ecosystem services. This, and other information, is available for downloading on the call page of the BONUS website at www.bonusportal.org/ses. The guide includes, as annexes, all the pages available at the EPSS that are required in the process of formulation of applications that are planned to be submitted for this call via EPSS when it is operational again.

The preregistration deadline for applications is 17 March 2014 and the call will close on 16 April 2014. For further call related as well as technical advice on proposal submissions, please contact bonus@bonuseeig.fi.
