BONUS call 2012 to open in autumn

In its meeting on 10 September 2012, the BONUS Steering Committee concluded the final stages of the processes necessary to open the first call under the BONUS 2010-2016 research programme. The exact date for opening the call will be announced once the implementation agreement between the BONUS EEIG and the European Commission is signed. This is envisaged to take place within the next few weeks.

Once announced, the call will remain open for three months i.e. the closing date of the call will be in early 2013, the preregistrations deadline for proposals a month earlier. The themes covered in the first thematic call will remain the very same as specified in the BONUS strategic research agenda 2011-2017 for the first thematic call (originally postponed from December 2011).

Further information related to the BONUS call 2012 will be posted on the BONUS website www.bonusportal.org as soon as it becomes available and emailed to the BONUS e-bulletin mailing list (subscribe at www.bonusportal.org/bulletin.

Financial Manager

He/she is together with the Executive Director responsible for the administration of the BONUS EEIG. The deadline for applications is 10 October 2012.
 
He/she is expected to have experience of financial management in an international context and an excellent command of oral and written Finnish and English with several years of practical experience.
