Join BONUS at the European Maritime Day 2017, Poole, 18-19 May

European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual meeting point for Europe’s maritime community to network, discuss and forge joint action. The EMD 2017 conference ‘The future of our seas’ programme has been now published and registration for the conference is open. Preparation of EMD can be followed on twitter #EMD2017. When in Poole, remember to visit the BONUS exhibition booth and join us at the ’Project pitch presentations session on Sustainability & Governance’ on 18 May (17-18:30).

Apply by 1 May to the third International Summer School on Climate of the Baltic Sea region, Askö Laboratory, Trosa, Sweden, 28 Aug–4 Sept 2017

This course will be co-organised by Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde and University of Rostock under the umbrella of Baltic Earth. It will focus on past and future changes in climate of the Baltic Sea region. For more detailed information about the course and how to apply by the 1 May deadline, visit the Summer School webpage.

Nominate the best stakeholder engagement achievement of the BONUS innovation projects

The best stakeholder action, product or event by one of the 13 'BONUS call 2012: Innovation' projects will receive EUR 5 000 to be used freely as the winner decides. All nominations must be made by the end of Thursday, 20 April 2017 by email to bonus@bonuseeig.fi.

The winner(s) will be announced in the evening of 3 May 2017 during the BONUS 10 year jubilee celebration in Helsinki, Finland.
