Watch the sixth BONUS Forum live stream online on 4 May 2017The joint 6th BONUS Forum and triple meeting of BONUS project coordinators, steering group and advisory board members as well as other key stakeholders will be available for live stream viewing online on 4 May 2017 at www.bonusportal.org/10 from 9:30 until 12:00 (EET).
The day chaired by the Chair of the BONUS Steering Committee Fritz Köster National Institute of Aquatic Resources Denmark, will commence with a key note by Patries Boekholt, Managing Director, Technopolis Group on ‘Policy and Evaluation Challenges on P2Ps’.
Next, the key findings of studies assessing the programme impact with particular emphasis on the years 2009-2016 of BONUS project implementation will be presented by Professor Pauline Snoeijs Leijonmalm from the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences, Stockholm University (BONUS impact on scientific excellence and dissemination) and Professor Mike Elliott from the Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies at the University of Hull (BONUS impact on policies, industries and structuring of macro-regional research area). The key findings will be published and made available on the day also in BONUS briefing number 26 while a comprehensive article based on both of these assessments has been submitted for an open-access scientific publication.
The BONUS Forum will be concluded by views and perspectives on different dimensions of impact by key stakeholders such as the European Commission, HELCOM, ICES, VASAB, Interreg Baltic Sea Region, WWF Baltic Ecoregion Programme, Baltic Earth, JPI Oceans, Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Black Sea Commission, as well as different ministry/policy and scientific community representatives.
