New statistics: 96 partners in 21 proposals competing for EUR 2 million in the 'BONUS call 2017: Synthesis'

A total of EUR 9.2 million was requested in the BONUS call 2017: Synthesis from which synthesise review projects worth EUR 2 million will be funded. BONUS received a total of 21 proposals with 96 partners from most of BONUS participating states (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Sweden). Unfortunately, there are no applicants from Lithuania nor from other than BONUS countries.

The below figure shows partners by countries in the BONUS call 2017: Synthesis

Because of the budget limitations, it was expected that quite big part of proposals have minimum consortium (at least three partners from three different countries). But in reality, 18 proposals - i.e. a great majority -  have four or more partners and in more than half proposals (in 12) more than three countries are represented.

BONUS proceeds now with the evaluation. The proposals will be informed about the call outcome in end of February 2018 after which the grant agreement negotiations begin. The earliest envisaged start month of projects to be funded is September 2018.

A total of 21 proposal worth EUR 9 million are competing for funding available in the BONUS call 2017: Synthesis
