BONUS Symposium ‘Science delivery for sustainable use of the Baltic Sea living resources’ hugely popular!
On 22 May abstract submission for the first BONUS symposium completed with impressive 108 submissions. The symposium will be held in Tallinn, Estonia on 17-19 October 2017The symposium will summarise the recent scientific findings on the spatio-temporal dynamics of Baltic Sea biodiversity, provide new insight in ecology of the main Baltic commercial fish species – cod, herring, sprat and flounder, and discuss improved assessment methods and tools for the management of marine living resources. The needs, opportunities and ways to incorporate the new scientific results into sustainable resource management, environmental protection and blue growth agenda will be discussed at a dedicated policy panel session.
BONUS Symposium ‘Science delivery for sustainable use of the Baltic Sea living resources’ is co-organised by Estonian Research Council and BONUS in cooperation with the International Council for Exploration of the Sea within the framework of Estonian presidency of the Council of the European Union.
