24 preregistrations submitted to BONUS call 2017: Synthesis worth at least EUR 2 million
A total of 122 applicants have submitted altogether 24 preregistrations to the currently open BONUS call 2017: Synthesis. The preregistration is now closed.
All eight BONUS member states, Belgium,
Italy and Norway are partners in one or more preregistration submissions made.
Ten consortia are coordinated by Finnish, six
by Swedish, three by German, two by both Danish and Estonian, and one by Polish
institutions. The nine
topics opened for the call are all covered and represented quite evenly.
The final proposal submission deadline is 9 November 2017.
The successful proposals will be invited for grant agreement negotiations
and when successfully completed start their transnational
desktop-studies of up to 18-months and EUR 450 000 of funding from September
2018 onwards. The proposals will be competing for funding available worth at
least EUR 2
million on the topic of sustainable use of Baltic Sea ecosystem services.
The preregistered consortia are encouraged to begin working on final proposals immediately while the supportive eligibility checks are being carried out by BONUS. The outcome of the eligibility check will be communicated to the consortia via the BONUS Electronic Programme Support System as soon as possible. The evaluation and panel meeting will take place in January 2018 and announcement of the evaluation outcome will be communicated to the successful consortia in February 2018.
Further information will be made available via BONUS e-bulletins – subscribe now if not done so already!
