Vacancy: Trainee to join the BONUS Secretariat

BONUS Baltic Organisations’ Network for Funding Science European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) is formed by research funding organisations from the Baltic Sea countries. Its Secretariat consists currently of 5 employees and is located in Helsinki. Its objective is the implementation of a joint Baltic Sea research and development programme, BONUS 2010-2016, funded by the national funding organisations and the European Commission.

The BONUS EEIG is seeking for a trainee for a period of 3 months. The task of the trainee would be to
  • assist the Secretariat in summarising the final reports of 16 research projects funded by BONUS during 2009-2011 and in preparation of the annual report of 2011
  • perform other tasks to be specified later
The work is planned to be carried out in the months February- May 2012. We expect more than two years’ university level studies in fields relevant to the Baltic Sea issues and a very good written and spoken communication skills in English. We offer an international working environment, good working spirit and conditions as well as an insight to Baltic Sea research management.

Duration: 3 months
