The 9th Baltic Sea Science Congress to be held in Klaipeda, Lithuania in August 2013
The Baltic Sea Science Congress (BSSC) is an international forum for researchers of the Baltic Sea countries which brings together marine scientists, experts as well as young researchers. The 9th Congress “New Horizons for Baltic Sea Science“ will be held 26-30 August 2013 in the city Klaipeda, Lithuania.
The BSSC will be organised by Klaipėda University (KU) and Coastal Research & Planning Institute (CORPI) in cooperation with BONUS and scientific societies, with a particularly large contribution from the Conference of Baltic Oceanographers (CBO), Baltic Marine Biologists (BMB), and Baltic Sea Geologists (BSG).
The 8th Baltic Sea Science Congress, and BONUS Annual Conference as part of it, was held on 22-26 August in St. Petersburg, Russia providing the main forum for BONUS+ scientists to present to their colleagues new scientific results of the 16 BONUS+ projects that ended in 2011 (more info).
