BONUS Annual Conference 2010 will be held 19-21 January 2010, Registration and Call for abstracts open now!
A year ago 16 BONUS+ projects started their work in more than 100 participating institutions. Now it is time to gather together for BONUS Conference 2010 to discuss the results of the first year of projects' implementation.The Conference programme will be built on the four main
thematic sessions:
- Theme 1: Building the knowledge-based governance and management of the Baltic Sea. (Generic issues of communicating knowledge to the policy level, Coping with implementation deficits, Cross-disciplinary analysis of environmental risks in Baltic Sea);
- Theme 2: Understanding processes and assessing the status of the Baltic Sea. (Abiotic setting, Functioning of biotic communities, Measuring ecosystem health);
- Theme 3: A system of catchment – coast – sea continuum; and
- Theme 4: Assessing future development of the Baltic Sea and uncertainties of projections. (Including modelling as a collective learning tool).
