Innovation with a purpose - healthy environment for all

Key outcomes:
- Participants will be updated with current views on how innovation and discovery can both thrive and support a healthy marine ecosystem – and make a society stronger
- Individuals will gain a greater knowledge of sustainable blue innovation – from oceans and seas to tangible end products – and how these can impact the economic and ecologic prosperity of our environment
- Increased sense of what is required for harnessing innovations that benefit the society
- Engagement of policymakers, funders and others at local, national, regional and European levels on exploration of the most desirable way(s) forward
