Preregistration deadline: 12 February 2013 at 17.00 CETProposal submission deadline: 12 March at 17.00 CET
Budget: EUR 7 million with flexibility of 10%
Funding scheme: Collaborative projects
Funding threshold: Maximum requested BONUS contribution to collaborative project is limited to EUR 0.5 million, including contributions from both the EU and the BONUS participating states
Project implementation: Projects will start earliest in December 2013 and the total duration of projects will be no longer than three years
Themes addressed: Each proposal will be requested to identify one key innovation theme from those opened for this call and at least two other supplementary themes included in the BONUS strategic research agenda
Themes: The BONUS call 2012 will include the following from the BONUS strategic research agenda 2011-2017:
- Theme 2.4 Eco-technological approaches to achieve good ecological status in the Baltic Sea

Theme 5.2 Developing and testing innovative in situ remote sensing and laboratory techniques
Theme 5.3 User-driven new information and communication services for marine environment, safety and security in the Baltic Sea area
Evaluation: Research
proposals addressing all call themes will be evaluated by one panel and
eventually ranked into one list
